Monument to Isaac Newton

Height: 4.5 m.
The task was to create a classical yet kinetic monument to Newton.
We designed it with a steel bar protruding from the pedestal,
which can be pushed down very lightly—so easily that even a child
can move it.
We elaborated the block system hiding inside a pedestal to compensate the weight of marble statue. The statue we sculpted in 3d programm, 3d printed, molded and cast in artificial marble (mixture of marble powder and a bit of polyester resin) The project realisation took around one year.
