Lange E is a performative sculpture. The object on the pedestal is shaped by pressing a template through a soft mass of uncured concrete, creating an elongated projection of the letter E and a residual mass at the other end of the template. The artwork invites viewers to reflect on the relationship between form, material, and the artistic process.
